I am new here so my apologies if this has been asked before (or if I am breaking some sort of forum etiquette). I have seen some great answers and advice on here so thought I would give it a go.
My fiancé and I are travelling to Oahu with family in late August/early September to get married. We are struggling to book the ceremony and reception venues at the moment and hoped people could offer tips and advice.
It is a small wedding with 15 guests. We would like the ceremony to be held on a lawn (where we can have seats for guests) with an ocean backdrop. We do not want the ceremony on the beach itself. Does anyone know any beautiful locations that won’t ask for thousands of dollars for a rental site fee?
As for the reception we would love any restaurant suggestions people can offer. Our ideal reception would be a restaurant that has a “private” dining area with nice food (we don’t need anything gourmet). If there was some music or a dance floor even better (but no nightclubs).
We are after simple and elegant without a huge price tag.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
