There are a few locations….depending on what you are looking for.  I am a wedding designer & planner in Miami and I have a few locations that might work….of course you have to be flexible .  Email me at [email protected]

Try the Rusty Pelican – had my MOH have a reception there; more affordable than most places.

The Rusty Pelican is nice.  You may want to give the Red Fish Grill a call.  It may be possible that by doing it on a Friday or Sunday (and perhaps earlier in the day), they can come in somewhere near to your $30-$40 range.  Also, I’ve found that a few places offer discounts from April-November (hurricane season).

The sad truth is that having a wedding in Miami isn’t cheap!  Choosing to have your reception at a restaurant, though, is a great way to cut down on the costs.  You’ll have so many things already on-site: food, tables and chairs, linens, dishes, glassware, flatware.  All of that stuff adds up quickly when you have to rent it!

Good luck!  :o)

Considerin the Links on Key Biscayne – I believe they might offer buffet for around that rate or a little more w/ alcohol. We are having ours there & their event planner, Heather is great & super helpful for budget conscious brides. Also Rusty Pelican might have something & a great view. Also consider Fetes & Events – they often email our $4,000 for 100 people offers, etc. Google them. Hope this helped!

I dont know if this is an option for you but I went to a place called Renaissance in the Gables apperantly they are a family owned business where everyone plays a role (ex. father owns place, son runs it, mother is a florist, uncle is dj, aunt is cake maker ect…) well anyway they dont seem to be like a regular cheesy banquet hall. Actually I am tempted to use their upstairs room except I am trying to find an outdoor venue. They where offering me a package for 80 guest with EVERYTHING!!!! for $6,495 on a Saturday night or $1000 less friday or sunday.  They also had a cheaper option for $3,995 (Saturday) without the bar or flowers.   Message me if you want me to email you the quote they gave me.

Try Parrot Jungle…..they have beautiful ballrooms and views to the downtown area, I went to a wedding there about 3 years ago and it was really nice. Their prices are pretty good I’ve heard and it includes 5 hour alcohol =)

Good Luck!
