HI - are you in NYC now? I went to a Dominican Hairdresser and they did a good job - I suggest you just start walking into places and doing trials - her prices were also reasonable - I would recommend her but I think she is too far (in Yonkers) there are many places in Queens and NYC --
If you need makeup let me know the girl I used travels all over the city
May hairdresser is incredible. He is based in Brooklyn, and did an excellent job onmy hair for my wedding this summer. His name is Marq, number is 646-236-8299

Hi Everyone:
Can anyone suggest some hairstylist that have experience with african-american relaxed hair. Im getting married in Long Island City, Queens in Feb 2012 and need someone to come to me to do my hair. I am also have 3 of my bridesmaids hair done also. Im also on a budget.
Please suggest someone if you know of anybody.
