I am a bride on a real budget. I still want a lovely wedding and am thinking of getting this gown from outerinner when their black Friday sale starts on November 27. I have my heart set on a lace gown, and this would be 20% off $246.75. I think it’s a great price! Have you shopped here? Is this a good price for a lace gown? Any advice appreciated!

Based on the pictures they have and the prices listed for the dresses, I think you’d be getting a knock-off if you ordered from them.
There are positive reviews of them, some of them are even on this site, but the photos of dresses that they show are taken from the real designer’s sites.
I suggest steering clear and looking elsewhere.

Check out church street bridal! Their on facebook but have a store location in virgina. Theyre a shop that gets Kleinfelds and others samples as donations and the sell ALL of them for less than $1000, most around $200-$400. All benefits go to help battered women and children. I bought my reception dress from them, Monique Lhuillier Candy, for $200 🙂 The girls are super nice. You look through their fb pictures (their inventory) and ask if the dress is still available and hope that ot is! They ship all over the country and world.

I second Tadashi Shoji (that dress above is gorgeous!), as well as looking at department store white evening gowns. Macy’s, Nordstrom’s, JC Penney, etc. If you order online you can return whatever you don’t want. My dress was $120 from Macy’s and I LOVED it. It was fitted and lacy and low-fuss, just what I wanted.
