Do you mean printing the addresses on the envelope? Or directions? Microsoft Word does it but not like you say. You can download fonts for it but I don't think it automatically centers.
If you want to try your luck with OpenOffice.org, I have a template that will print addresses both vertically and horizontally centered on a 5x7 envelope. You can download it here: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B2ixFCv4NINTZGZiNjg0ZjMtNGRlNS00NTNmLWIyYWItZjI2MDE0N2M4Njkx
It ends up looking like this:
@justeen:yes i mean like printing the addresses on the envelope- I have downloaded some nice fonts, but want a programs where i can do all my invites addresses on the envelop! And it doesn't have automatically center.. just wishfull thinking
Word will do it if you do a mail merge with your Excel document that has all your address on it.
Agree with @littlemissmoo. You can do a mail merge for specifically for envelopes in Word - you select your envelope size, and merge your address onto the envelopes. If you set your merge fields to be centered, then the addresses will be centered on the envelopes.
Feel free to PM me if this doesn't make sense! (I have Word 2007, but can probably help you on other versions too).
I did the what the PP's are saying also in word! I do it for all my envelopes, the post office would hate me if i didnt :)
@littlemissmoo: thank you. I might need to PM you for more details/instructuions on how to input the addresses exactly into excel (i know how to use excel but do the names go in a certain column or all together, etc.). how do you merge excel addresses into word??
@gabrielleelise1981: I will def. take u up on the offer! I am a little confused on the whole excel and word combo.
What are some good fonts to download to have the "calligraphy" look? I downloaded a few fonts, ones is called "adorable" and its nice.. but anything suggestions on free downloads of calligraphy fonts? Not to script... kind of a combo of script and handwritting mixed...if that makes sense?
Microsoft Word does that. They also have settings you can go into and tell it whether it is printing on an envelope or a regular letterhead.

what is a good, decently priced, and user friends computer program that prints direction on envelops? I don't like the ones that print on the sicky label that you stick on the envelop, I want one that writes directly on the envelop, and has pretty calligraphy font, knows the size of the envelop and when you input the address it centers it accordingly.
now that i think about it...Does this even exist? Seems like it either doesn't or will be extremely expensive! lol
