We are doing our picture in a frame with us next to numbers, like a highway 1 sign, for table #1.... I also liked doing, the number, and then a sweet love quote or lyric from a song underneath
how about framed photos of vintage bird prints....you could probably pickup a vintage book on ebay or etsy and use the pages. Then maybe do die-cuts of numbers to place on top of the vintage prints inside the frames. Does that make sense, if not PM and I could try to photoshop you mockup. :)
We don't do numbers but names of places we've been to all over the world.
They are DIY ones: I took photos we made (we're on some too) and edited them with an image editor. We'll be sitting at table "BRUGGE" (which is the flemish name of Bruges/Belgium, where my FI asked me to be his wife). On the pic below you see exactly this place in my table-name-style. I'll print it as a photo and put it into a frame :)

I found a great bunch of vintage-y looking pictures on this website: http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/sitemap/birds.php and it's free! You could just put a table number with a bird next to it and print it out on some fun paper.
Hope that helps!
