    I think I like the silver sashes better, but I think it’s more because of the material than because of the color.

    I think silver/grey because it makes more of a statement, and as loving life said, the material is much nicer looking as a sash.

    I think those centerpieces will look good once all the plates are on the table. I’m a big fan of low centerpieces too! They’re so much nicer when you want to talk to your table mates.

    Also, I prefer the gray sashes.

    @Mint2Bee:

    It looks great! I really like the two-coloured table runner! I prefer the grey sashes on the chairs, but more because of the material rather than the colour. Pink sashes would be fine too, but I’d prefer if they were also satin as that material seems to fit the style of the centrepieces better. As for the size, how big are the tables? 60 inch rounds, seating 8? The centrepiece might seem small now, but once that table is fully set with  plates, glassware, utensils, escort cards, bottles of wine, water carafe etc I think it should be fine.

    Centerpieces are good.  I didn’t vote b/c I am undecided about the silver/pink mixture on the chairs.  I think the touch of pink overlay looks good combined with the silver…but these look like the same fabrics.  How about some tables have pink sashes only and opposite tables grey sashes only. The sash fabrics look off together. One is organza and the other is satin. Maybe it would work as pictured if the pink sashes were satin as well.

    @Summer_Rose:  Totally agree. I think the centerpieces are a good size.

    I agree with PPs. The silver fabric looks nicer. I think that if the pink were in the same fabric you could mix and match more–but because it’s different, they just don’t look right.

    That said, I do link the pink on the table runner. However, the table runners might look even better if there were a touch of pink on both sides of the silver runner, not just one. I like the two tones on the runner, but having pink on both sides of the silver would add needed symmetry (then your eye would be drawn to the centerpiece, rather than the silver edge of the runner–which is where my eye is drawn to right now).

    I don’t like the sheer pink organza, I’d go with grey only
