Does anyone know where I can find some FREE flourishes or designs that I can use for my invites?

    TIA!

Sorry but I don't know of any online resources. Hopefully someone in the Hive will!

We actually had ours printed and then used a beautiful flourish stamp on each one, and embossed them. They turned out great! Just another suggestion - good luck!

fotolia.com has a ton to choose from.  its not free but you can pay by credit and each image is usually only 3 or 4 credits (which is 3 or 4 dollars).  you might be able to search for "floral illustrations" or "floral vectors" and find some free ones in google image.

I also suggest using good ol' clipart as a place to start some searches. You can't beat free!

look into downloading some free fonts - many fonts don't actually use letters, they have flourishes or sketches or pictures in place of the letters.  I like using www.dafont.com.  Here's one page on their site that has some flourish-like fonts:  http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=710

There are many other categories you can search there too.

I also have had success searching for vectors.

Oh my goodness, I totally bought some that I'm not going to use.  You can have them.

I had planned to completely DIY our invites, but then realized the kits from Michaels were much easier for a not-so-crafty girl like myself.

I'm attaching a picture - they are brand new.  PM me if you're interested.

what program are you using?  if you are going with any adobe products, you can use whats called brushes.  goggle "free photoshop brushes" and a ton of stuff will come up.

fonts are another great way to go.  dafont has a TON.  they are called dingbats
