Soooo... I've got everything planned out, but i need a hair stylist and a makeup person. If they will come to my hotel, that would be awesome, or if they are in Narragansett OR a town that touches 'Gansett, thats cool too :)

I was thinking of going to scope out a few places and then, based on shop appearance and prices/vibe/#chairs available, pick a few to actually get my hair done at over the winter, but if anyone's got a recommendation that would be sweet!

Also, would prefer to find airbrush makeup if possible - any help with that would be awesome!

I'm getting married in May 2012 in Narragansett and We just booked Lynda and her team from Formal Hair Design: http://www.formalhairdesign.com/

Lynda has been awesome at communicating with us, her prices are awesome, and she's an "on location" stylist meaning that they are not attached to a studio. Lynda's prices for 'Gansett include travel. She has been nothing but amazing over our phone/email conversations and her reivews are awesome too.

Can't speak about makeup as I'm doing my own (I'm an actress so I'm used to it) but I know Lynda had suggestions for people she works with/recommends and I've also seen Kristin Greene's name pop up on here quite a bit.

Try Sara Faella! She is amazing--so is her Glam Squad. She does do airbrush make up--which I loved on my wedding day! She does do on site hair and makeup and is amazing. She also makes custom hair accessories. Definitely check her out

Hi. I am using Serai Hair & Makeup Artistry for my July '12 wedding and I am very happy with my choice! She is based in East Greenwich area and does travel to your designated location within RI for no travel fee. I already had my hair/makeup trial and was beyond excited with the results so I didn't look anywhere else. Good luck with your planning!
