I was born and raised in Philly, just moved to the suburbs about three years ago. Anyhoo, my wedding is being held at Society Hill Dance Academy (2nd & Pine). Prices vary depending on what you want, but I thought they were pretty reasonable. Here is the website (http://www.societyhilldance.com/

Hi there - I'm in the Philly suburbs, but my wedding was actually in the Lehigh Valley. I do have a ton of friends who had weddings around this area. I also had some fantastic photographers - Douglas Benedict and Joe Craig both from the Lehigh Valley but willing to travel to Philly.

We got engaged a month ago, and have booked the German Historical Society ballroom at 6th and Spring Garden for 4/14/2012. Ceremony is at the Quaker meeting house at 4th and Arch. the reception venue is an awesome space, but they don't have AC, so no summer weddings. They don't have any in house vendors, so we're hoping to save some money on catering, DIY liquor and flowers etc. The block is kind of ugly, but oh well. We're looking for a (cheap) caterer, any advice would be appreciated!
Hiya, I'm a philly bride and my wedding is slated for spring next yr. already pulling my hair out, hahahaha. Anyhoo my venue is the philmont country club in Huntingdon Valley. They allow outside catering as we are incorporating fiance's bristish/african roots. So far ive booked photographer, video, DJ, carterer, band, lighting, chivari chairs, makeup, hair, cake, wedding planner, florist decor and design..hmm what else. im almost done. and i just started planning last month, whewwww. Im exhausted.

Hello Bees................... I am a philly girl born and raised. Getting closer to my ring. Doing preliminary planning so that I dont have to do much of anything next year.
