Hi! Hands down - Leigh Miller! She is based in San Diego but will travel anywhere and she is fantastic! She is shooting our wedding in August but we've already had our engagement session with her and she was absolutely wonderful to work with - especially since both my fiance and I HATE being photographed. I would also go to thepros.com...they give you the option to choose your photographer and they base it on packages, not the individual photographers fee. Their packages range from 1400-2400 and they are based all over...

Not quite WI, but not too far so paying for travel costs might not be too bad:
He's a friend of mine's BIL, and he did their wedding. He's great, but we had already booked before I remembered him (and I love my photographer as well, but he's in SoCal so lots of extra travel costs).

Have you checked out Modern Photographers website? They are a selective group of photographers that have to uphold certain standards to be selected for membership. One of the requirements is a modern, fresh style. :)
