Weddingbee boards

Hi all! I've just spent hours clicking though all the photographers listed for DFW on theknot and on weddingwire and my eyes are starting to cross! The biggest problem is cost, we've budgeted $1500-$2000, but it would be awesome if we could get it for $1500 or below. Plus we don't need 8 hours of coverage with all the bells an whistles.

We'll need a max of four hours on the wedding day with a 30 minute portrait shoot between the ceremony and reception and a cd/dvd with the digital files. Plus we'd like a 1 hour engagement shoot.

Any one have any reccomendations? I'd like a photographer that is dedicated to truly capturing the little moments of the day. One the things that really turned me off a few photographers was that I would be looking at their wedding portfolio and I wouldn't see any smiles! They were very artistic photos but your wedding is the happiest day of your life, there should be smiles!
