I went to K.Photographie - We really liked her style and her experience - Prices were a little high but she's willing to work with different things to get the cost down. I'm still looking for a videographer for my October 2009 wedding.

Shang Chen is a great photographer in the Boston area! She does lifestyle, wedding, engagements, babies, materinity etc.

I know from personal experience that she gives her 200% and is supper enthusiastic as well low key to work with!
We are using MKD Photography and they are the BEST! Mike and Kate are a husband/wife team and they really know how each other work -- I highly recommend them.

For videography, I went with Erin at Custom Wedding Films. She's a terrific videographer based in Somerville. She was professional to deal with and everyone loved the final video!
Her prices went up a bit though (because she switched to HD) but I definitely recommend her work :)

I went to a wedding in RI that used Grazier Photography. They were very friendly and no obtruvise at all. I checked out their blog and their work is beautiful, very artistic. I don't know about the pricing but I think it's worth asking.
I also second Matt and Enna Grazier -- they were our second choice ... well I can't even say that ... they were one of our top choices, just a tad out of our price range.

I like Agneiska Wormus from A Brilliant Photo. I think her photos are fantastic. Her packages are really good, well priced, and her turnaround is fantastic. www.abrilliantphoto.com
We are using Melissa Robotti. She's also a boudior photographer. She is really good at working with light and shadow. www.melissarobotti.com
I also like Scott Metzger, but I don't know what his pricing is like. His work is quite good though.
I am a photographer so finding one was really hard for us. While I would have loved to fly in Jasmine Star for photo and Michel Sandy for video, it wasn't going to happen. Gl to you.

I would suggest going through their blogs to see their style (they differ a bit), and if you're interested, email them for availability and pricing. I would say all of them are pretty reasonably priced for the work that they offer.

We used Bryce Vickmark for our photos (www.brycevickmark.com) and he was fabulous. So many wonderful amazing photos!!!
We used David Bettencourt out of RI for videography-- a mix of digital film and 8 mm-- so breathtaking.
For photography we used Tirado Photography. They are a husband and wife team and are really high energy and fun! www.tiradophotography.com

We are using grazier photography and i can't recommend them enough!!! Enna will be there for our wedding and we have bonded so well. Matt really completes the team and they are such a loving, giving, easy couple.
They are just beyond fabulous. They were out of our price range as well, but we decided to cut back on some other fru-fru and spend money on the one thing that will last a lifetime besides our marrige.

Joseph Prezioso offers a cini-film as part of his packages: an edited video montage of the day (most of the footage is shot by his assistant and therefore does not effect your photography). It is a great alternative to a full blown videographer and still captures the day on film. Definitely give him a call!!

Help ! Its passes the 1 yr mark and we were told we had to get on the ball and get a photographer and video ..since our wedding is in June ...
Me and my fiance have emailed numerous Photographers and we've only gotten 2 meetings and were wondering , who did everyone else go with ? Were looking for quality and pricing ..
We haven't spoken to anyone about videography ..kinda hoping that we could find a photographer and videographer in 1 ..lol
Anyone have any suggestions :)
