Where can I buy some nice bed sheets or bed collections within a reasonable price.. Im not sure exactly what is a good price for bed sets-- Macys has them for almost 200-300 dollars for a set..

Also, how many bed sets should we start out with? Around 5? Or is that too little?

I just bought some awesome Tahari sheets at Marshalls for $39.99!

I like having two sets per bed... anything more is just a lot of sheets, IMO.

Watch the sales at Macy's.  I've gotten some great deals on sheets there when I have a coupon to use in addition to a sale price.  We got our 800 threadcount set for $89.99 and they're amazing!

Kohls.  I bought 600+ thread count sheets for our King sized bed for about $60 with a 30% off coupon.  Also, HomeGoods usually has high thread count sheet sets for good prices.

I usually watch the sales at Macys.  I've gotten by with Ross sheets, but have been dissapointed.  I only have two sets for our bed.  For our old bed (queen), which is not the guest bed, I have tons and tons of bedding because we didn't have a washing machine at home and I used to go to the laundromat as few times as possible.

TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Century 21 are brilliant for bedding. Amazing quality stuff incredibly cheap.

    Try Marshall's and TJMaxx.

5 sets!  Wow!  I hope you have a HUGE linen closet!  I've always thought two sets is good enough. One set on the bed and one set in the wash.  Then you just rotate them.

Kohl's always has great sales if you just stalk the bedding section for a while! Also, if you have a Bed, Bath & Beyond, the coupons and in-store discounts help! Prices are fair to begin with :)

i am very picky about sheets. i am not joking, costco (kirkland signature i believe) has the best sheets i have ever felt. they are about 70 dollars a sheet and have a very high thread count (600?). THEY ARE SERIOUSLY THE BEST!

@al1988: i also have only two sets per bed. when one is washing, we put the other set on the bed. we also have a flannel set for winter.

five seems like a lot, unless your linen closet is ginormous!

I like Targets plain old cotton sheets - like $50 a set.  Though we splurged a little on our sheets, the target sheets are what we use every where else!

As others have mentioned TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, Target are all great places for quality and reasonably priced sheets.

Marshall's and TJ Maxx for brick-and-mortar stores. Also check Amazon and Overstock! You can read reviews and get great deals.

Big Lots and Target have some pretty decent ones.
