@Melibee: I visited and really loved the Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim Hills, but the only issue is that you have to bring in everything- even generators and lighting. The venue rental costs are pretty cheap, but its the renting stuff that scared me off. Visually, it would be perfect for a rustic wedding.

Does anyone know of any inexpensive, rustic style, venues or restaurants? Or a vacation spot for rent that would be good for a wedding? I'm looking around the Los Angeles area but am willing to drive an hour away. Around 130 guests, wedding is October 2012. I'm open to other suggestions about where or how to have a rustic theme wedding, decoration ideas, etc.
I've been searching online and now I'm hoping to find the wonderful not-so-well-known places.
