    Hi Bees!

I am starting to really, really want to do a Budoir shoot for my hubby-to-be, which is gonna be crazy for me because I'm usually pretty shy, the problem I am facing is that I wouldn't want certain areas of my body to show (like my belly) it just doesn't look like it did before kids! :) does anyone have any ideas or shots they did that were still super sexy without showin too much? I'd love to see!

Well, first of all, they'll photoshop you so that really helps. Anything on your back (think laying on your back, feet crossed in the air, looking over your shoulder) or where you're twisting are all more slimming. Also put your shoulders back far and arching your back, leaning over a chair a little bit is sexy, too. Look in VS magazines for tips--it doesn't have to be a full body shot either!!! Just your shoulders, face, and decollete, just a piece of your back, etc. In fact, if you wear a thing and hold something whispy, have the camera at your back and look over your shoulder, that's a good one too.....seriously, use lingerie magazines for inspiration =]

Also, make sure you hire a good boudoir photographer and speak to her (or him) about your concerns beforehand. I have seen beautiful boudoir shots with seriously curvy women!

As a boudoir photographer myself, communication is key.... talk with them and make sure that they provide guidance for you... idea on props etc.... I always bring blankets, and other props...but the skies' the limit, I've had clients show up with scenes set up.... ready to go. Look at victoria's secret for the sexy and sultry ideas etc......make sure most of all that you feel comfortable w/ the photog and HAVE FUN!

    Hey!

We talked breifly about doing boudoir photos,   and I have LOTS OF TRICKS and poses that are very flattering!       There are tricks you can do with:

    1. posing

    2. light ( non-favorite body part in shadow )

    3.  coverage ( outfits or sheet )

Get in touch if you have other questions!    I should have a more extensive run down on my website soon about how to prepare for a boudoir shoot too!
