Hello, Beautiful Bees!
I have some extra time today, so I wanted to start working on the centerpiece ideas. Fiance and I are getting married June 15, 2013. Our colors are peacock colors – sangria, purples, greens, blues, etc. Anyways, I’m getting some really beautiful cake plates and I’d like to use them somehow for centerpieces. Any ideas for how to use them (without putting a cake on them)? 😀

-center a pillar candle and surround with flowers
-top with a block of florist foam and make a flower cake
-top with a traditional floral arrangement
-top with a floral pomander
-top with miniature vintage bottles and a spray of flowers or berries
-turn upside down and use the stem to hold water for flowers
Or, you could do a larger version of this wineglass centerpiece with flowers under the stem and candles on top

@julies1949: Thank you SO much! The pics are very helpful. I didn’t think about the florist’s block. Hmmm…. 🙂

I found these. I really like the one with the candles. Instead of white you could use your wedding colors.
This one you could also change the colors of the flowers. So pretty!
