I've been looking for green square envelopes everywhere online, but haven't been able to find anything that's not incredibly expensive.
Can anyone give me any recommendations of where to buy square envelopes? I'm located in Los Angeles, so if you know of any physical stores, I'm open to that!
My preferred envelope would be 5.5x5.5 (but I'm willing to go as large as 6.5x6.5).
Here is a sample of the type of green shade I would like to find, but at this point, I am flexible.
cardsandpockets.com might have them, and also LCI paper. while I assume you need square envelopes, if you havent' ordered the invites yet, the postage is extra for the square!
if you can find paper in the shade you want, you can also make your own envelopes. not sure how many you need, but they are actually fairly simple. we couldn't find long envelopes to fit our invitation design so we ended up finding fabulous paper and making fold out envelopes.
Unfortuately I don't have any green square envelopes, but I do have very high quality white envelopes that are 5.5 x 5.5 if you are insterested in purchased. I have a ton left over from my sister's wedding that i can sell to you for 15 cents each. If you are interested, I can even send one as a sample. Thanks!
They have some other recycled envlopes, but the ones I clicked on didn't have square. What if you pick a more neutral color, then have a liner in green?
I highly recommend this vendor. They have great customer service, excellent prices, samples available, and all my invite supplies are on their way to me right now. :)
I have def. done my research on this topic! I was looking for the same size square envelopes, but in brown. A lot of places only offer white, which tends to be cheaper than a color, but here's what I found for sites that offer color (I am assuming that if they offered brown, they probably offered some shade of green, although I haven't checked on this- Oh, and also, the pricing doesn't include shipping!):
Habersham, check out USPS.com to see about additional postage rates.... and when in doubt, always take your final piece to the post office to get weighed before buying postage. My wedding invites weighed in around $0.93 postage, but because of the thickness they were considered a "large envelope" and required $1.17. You just never know.

Looks like they're 25 for $10, less if you buy 5+ packs.

We got Astrobright invites there for way less than we saw elsewhere. They have a wide selection and good prices even w/ shipping and taxes. Good luck!
