I’m hoping to become a Hudson Valley bride.. since I’m looking for a medieval castle look , something about the stone architecture. I got engaged at the Cloisters in NY (reconstructed monastry arches from medeival europe) and am a huge history buff. Does anyone know whether there’s any castles or mansions with roman columns in the Westchester area (no more than about an hour drive from NYC)? I know there is Lyndhurst Castle, Castle on Hudson (probably wont work for me since max is 150 ppl), and Tarrytown house Estates. I will have approximately 175-200 attendees. I’m concerned about price so I am looking into late October/ November to see if the price is more reasonable in the late fall.
Thanks for any guidance you can provide!!

If you don’t mind driving to NJ, you could check out Skylands in Ringwood.
My favorite venue in the entire tri-state area is The Wainwright House in Rye, NY. It is beautiful…although the tent may not be able to accomodate your guest size.
