Honestly, the only one that comes to my mind quickly, is Simple Man by Lynard Skynard. It has a Mother/Son theme to it, has a rock sense to it as well but my DH and I actually dance to it all the time bc we love it so much. In fact it is one of his and his moms favorite song. I'll keep thinking for you! I like that you are going a different route!
My partner and his mom danced to something by Credence Clearwater Revival. I can't remember the song name, but it was perfect for them! I'll ask Mr. DG when he returns from his trip.

My Groom & FMIL have such an awesome relationship together, but they are not the typical "sappy sweet" people, in fact, they are both huge rock fans. I'm looking for the perfect Mother/Son Song for them that represents how close they really are, but also has a "rock" flare to it. I obviously still want something slow they can dance to, but nothing typical.
