I just got the similar dress at davids bridal.. the top one has pearls thou..but the bottom are the same

My Maggie Sottero Clemence has the pencil edged ruffles - let me look and see if she has anything similar to this in a mermaid shape - do you have a budget?

it is hard to find in as dramatic a mermaid shape but I will keep poking around
Maggie Sottero Jenna has finished looking ruffles but the fabric looks a bit different. Same style though.

Thats a very popular style so I don't think you'll have any issues finding one. The "finished" look your seeking may have been partially created by this brides seamstress or a very well placed hoop/crinoline. So it may be wise to keep an open mind when trying some on since most will be squished and flat in plastic bags.
Also, I tried on that MoriLee 1606 it was $650 and Nova by Maggie was $799. Pronovias/LaSposa/San Patrick I think start around $1200 and keep on going. Pronovias Fauna and San Patrick Eresma are just 2 that come to mind but they make tons of ruffle-y gowns. Good luck!

wow thank you all so much you have given me some great things to work with. Some of the pics I look at and think no straight away as I know in my head exact details that I want 
but they are all fantastic ideas. I am going to hunt down the Maggie Sottero Nova and Mori Lee 1606.

HELP!! I have been searching for a dress like this one for MONTHS and came across this picture on a wedding site but dont know what brand the dress is. Note the reason I like it is because of the FINISHED look of the ruffles on the bottom half. Most of the dresses that I have come across with a similar mermaid and ruffles design, do not look finished (example the Essense D1170). Does anyone have any ideas???
