Hi,

I don’t have pictures of the ring but I just want to let you know if you’re getting it from People’s make sure the diamond quality is good. Most of their stones are I1-I3 clarity and very overpriced so you could probably get it made somewhere else with better stones for a less expensive price.

It is a beautiful set however!

acorsaut:  Zale’s (the People’ss of the US) and I don’t have a good track record. My high school sweetheart had given me a promise ring from there years ago and twice in six months we had to bring it back for repair (and they totally replaced the ring the second time) because stones kept falling out. So I’d probably see if you can find an independent jeweler willing to recreate the setting instead of dealing with the rigmarole of People’s service.

acorsaut:  I have size 9 fingers too! I don’t have this ring, but I will chime in on the style on chubby fingers. I found that anything with a lot of metal on the sides- like the channel set you have picked- looked really wide on my finger and accentuated the chub lol. I would suggest something with a twisty band or a bit thinner so your centre stone/stones stand out!

acorsaut:  Fair enough! No two hands will look the same – someone a dress size 6 could be 6′ tall or 5′ tall and they would look totally different! I just found the chunky metal on me too be too much. Here’s a pic I took at my desk when I got my wedding band in the other day! (each ring is 2 mm thick)

acorsaut:  Hopefully I can help. I have a ring similar to what you are looking for, except it does not have a halo. Itis from Kay jewelers which I think may be People’s sister store in Canada.

acorsaut:  My husband bought this for me as an upgrade for our 17th anniversary. Prior to this I has a tiny cluster ring, so for me this is a major upgrade. With time I will eventually repace the 4 center stones with 1 princess cut diamond, but for now this is what was within our budget. I am very happy with my ring and love that he was sweet and surprised me. He did mention that he bought it because he wanted a good size ring and this one sparkled a lot and it seemed very soild. Also he is not a fan of danity rings. So overall I am happy 🙂 I can’t complain

acorsaut:  Oh also the 4 center stones are the size of a 1 carat Princess Cut Diamond, not the weight, but the square its self is the equivalent of a 1 carat stone. And my ring size is 6.75 – 7 My husband just wanted to be sure it was good finger coverage and I think that it is.
