@april29bride: look up DSiphotography on facebook. I went to high school with him and he is just starting out but i love the engagement photos he has posted. his prices are listed on his website, VERY reasonable. I am gonna ask him to do our engagement photos. I had already booked a photographer cause we got a great deal $2500 for all day unlimited hours two photographers a disk with all photos plus our album and a couple of other things too.
Check out our photographer! She's AMAZING and incredbily inexpensive!! She will work within your budget and she is a super cool person. You can see some of her work on my engagement photography post:

She graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2008, so she's new, but one of the best photographers I've seen who doesn't charge $5000. I think she's $1700 now. She just shot a wedding in Beverly Hills, where Kanye West was a guest that should be posted soon! She does everything from low low budget weddings to crazy expensive (like the beverly hills one). And she travels!! I clearly think she's awesome. She so talented and I love that she could charge an insane amount but doesn't. Look her up!

I got an amazing deal when I found a film student at UC Berkley and he was amazing. You would never guess he was a student and his professionalism amazed me, got the video dvd and video short with in 2 weeks of wedding. @april29bride: We didn't actually hire a videopgrapher, but our photographer happened to bring along his friend who is getting into the vid business and was willing to shoot our wedding for free and then would sell it to us if we liked it. This was great because we were having a destination wedding in Mexico and were not going to pay for someone to travel, especially since we hadn't even thought of getting video. We looooved the end result and ended up purchasing highlight video and raw footage. He was very reasonable! He's in southern CA, but if you like his work you may want to see what he would charge to travel. I'm from SF Bay area :)

I need suggestions on good upcoming photographer and videographer in San Jose/Bay Area. Our wedding date is April 29, 2012 and we have yet to find photographer/videographer to work with our small budget. Help!
