No kidding! Who does that type of thing anyway? Why would someone want random strangers at their wedding in the first place, as expensive as they are to feed and water each person? Are close family and friends not good enough?
That's not counting the fact that Craigslist is a breeding ground for psychos.
OMG i know im already having to cut people :( because of money situations. I understand they have to have a certain amount but ... neighboor, coworker, distant friend? Come on.
Crazy as it is, I wouldn't put it past some celebs to do that but most normal people aren't that stupid, at least one would hope. A good example is a story surrounding Mariah Carey's wedding years ago when she supposedly hired out children (and even had auditions for them...really?!) she'd never met before to fill roles of attendants. Attendant roles are filled by those who are closest to you, not random people you have to hire.
Im not sure which is worse, making this add or answering it? I would never do either.
Could it be a joke? Or a trick? Like one of those candid camera shows?
I would be afraid that they would be getting axe murderers or people who are going to steal all their presents! I can't believe they don't have any friends that they could invite last minute.
This is just too weird. It has to be a joke! What if it is someone being mean to the bride and groom and sending some random people to their wedding?
Wow. It wouldn't kill you to have two empty seats. I'm sure they may have paid per head and just want their money's worth but it would be easier to ask a coworker or someone. They may be offended that they weren't really invited but at least you wouldn't have to be worried about sketch balls.
That just seems odd...I don't understand why they would HAVE to have every seat filled. I mean, can't they just pay the venue for the two people that won't be there rather than filling their spots?
yikes. Tacky. I dont think having 2 void spaces would be worse then potentially inviting 2 wedding crashers.
Wow. I especially like "fun, personable, attractive, fun loving individuals." C'mon, beggars can't be choosers. ^_^ AND you can't just show up, you have to have a believable backstory to explain why you're there to other guests. So. Very. Weird.
These people are sure making a lot of demands for someone begging for wedding guests on craigslist. Must stay at the hotel to make it believeable? Have any of you ever followed a fellow wedding guest to their hotel rooms to be sure they are indeed "real" friends/family of the bride/groom.
This might be one of the stupidest craigslist posts I've ever seen.
Weird... maybe they're just trying to get on "Best of Craigslist" or whatever, for fun. I can't see who would really want total strangers showing up to their wedding!
