I would like to buy some fresh flowers (roses or baby's breath) for DIY vases at ceremony.  Any suggestions for an online source? Also, has anyone used Sam's Club for special order flowers? I know Costco does special orders but we don't have one near us.

Where do you live... is there a wholesale flower district in your city?

No - no flower district at all - I live in downstate Illinois about 2 1/2 hours south of Chicago.

I used Rosesource.com for an event a few years ago. They turned out wonderful , my flowers were due to be delivered the same day a tropical storm hit . the customer service was right on top of the weather delays and shipped everything out a day early to ensure my flowers would not miss my event date. The roses were a larger size bud then i was expecting , which was a bonus.

I've also used fiftyflowers.com with similar results. great customer service.

There are loads of board posts on this.  Try using the search tool to find all of them.  But here are a couple of recent ones:

I DIYed all my wedding flowers and used www.bloomsbythebox.com and was very pleased.

In the second post above I included pictures of my flowers.

    Good Luck.

I love fiftyflowers.com because they have a great selection

For our wedding we ordered from the above site, and flowersandfreshness.com- they have a great deal on mini calla lilies (cheapest anywhere... even at a flower wholesaler you need a tax id for) and their roses are priced really great too!
