Sometimes I feel this way. I know I am going to be super nervous the day of the wedding.
This is exactly how I felt. The closer I got to the wedding, the more excited I got about the honeymoon! Wedding details became more and more urgent and stressful, and the honeymoon was really all I was looking forward to! My wedding turned out great, but the honeymoon was even better! Hope you have fun at both!
That's totally me. I wish we could have the honeymoon first and then come back all relaxed to face the stress of the day itself!
This thought is often followed by the "why didn't we just elope?" thought :)
I am looking forward to the wedding, but the stress of pleasing the guests gets to me sometimes.
Absolutely! We've said from the start we can't wait for a just the two of us vacation!
Yup! Way more excited for our honeymoon than for the actual wedding itself :)
Oh me! me! *waves hand frantically* lol I've just started planning and even though it's been shot down a million times, I keep suggesting we run away and elope somewhere fabulous on our honeymoon
I've felt like that for several months now. I'm getting a LITTLE more excited now that it's only 3 weeks away, but more than anything I'm looking forward to SLEEPING IN (no more 5:30am mornings!!) and spending all day with my new-hubby and a nice vacation. I never go on vaca.
As wedding planning gets hot and heavy for my November wedding, I am bringing this post back to lighten my spirits! Jamaica here I come! And may you be safe from hurricanes!!!!
I feel the same way. I am totally over the whole wedding. All I want is to marry my love and then jet off for some alone time on the beach:) We don't even talk about a wedding countdown anymore, we do a honeymoon countdown!
Seriously, I am counting down the days to the honeymoon as well. I just want all the stress and planning to be over!!
I am not really stressed about the wedding at this point. We still have loads to do but it will get done. I am looking forward to the time off big time. I am taking 3 weeks off (I have been at my company for over 6 years and we are able to accumilate time off). So i'll be taking the week off beforehand and we are getting back from out week long honeymoon late monday night so I decided to take the rest of the week to relax and things all sorted out around the house. It will be nice to have three weeks of from work :D

As the wedding planning gets underway, I'm realizing that the wedding itself if for our friends and family. I'm excited about it, but mostly I'm stressed out like crazy. I do find myself daydreaming about 1- 2 weeks with no work! and 2-going on a trip.
Lol.
Anyone else stressed about the wedding, but can't wait for the time off?
