My fiance and I looked all over for a mansion wedding in the Chicago burbs a few months ago and a number of them were already book for fall of next year! We decided on the Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst and absolutely love it! Other options: there are several in Oak Park, the Mayslake Peabody Estate, Narnia Estate, and the Patrick C Haley mansion in Joliet. Best of Luck!
Check out the Stan Mansion in Logan Square if you are interested in a city option. Not inexpensive, but it is a good option based on what you're looking for.

There is also the Jacob Henry mansion in Joliet.
Also the Danada House in Wheaton. The Patrick Haley mansion is a must see...absolutely beautiful!

Looking for a private mansion to rent out for a wedding receiption. It would be even better if it was set up like a Bed and Breakfast with some rooms for overnight stay! But, hopefully big enough to host an event for 150 people. I don't mind setting everything up myself from caterers, etc.
