If you get a separate crinoline (not connected to your dress), you can just slip it on in between the ceremony and reception. I love the idea too! There is someone on Etsy that can dye crinolines to any color you want! I think I’m going that route so I don’t have to worry about trying to do it myself and ruining it.

They are awesome! If my dress allows for this, I am so doing it. I know a couple of our bees did it, but I just can’t remember off the top of my head…

I agree! Who does it on Etsy? I wanted to do this too, but I couldn’t find a crinoline that I thought would fit/ work under my dress.

I don’t know a lot of crinoline, and I when I asked a question on offbeat bride, the person who answer snapped at me, as if I should know EXACTLY where to get one.

Well, my dress isn’t super full, so I guess I wouldn’t want a hoop skirt crinoline. Does anyone know where I get one, relatively soon, inexpensively?

I want to dye it- which I know I can do in my washing machine, but I guess it need IT first!!

I think it is such a fun idea!! If it is a removeable slip, you could have a white one for the wedding cremony and then a colored one for the reception! I love love love the idea!!!!

Love it! I’m thinking about this. I’ll have to check out the etsy site. Thanks!

Done and done.  The Marie Antoinette picture above is my inspiration.  I’ve got hot pink shoes with a different shade of pink crinoline layer, and I’m SO EXCITED!  🙂
