I’ve heard many Bees say in the past that they had a positive experience with Lord of Gem Rings, a major seller on E-Bay.
However DH wants to get me a new band, and I’m browsing on Etsy and stumbled on a Lord of Gem Rings shop on that web site as well. Here is the link…
Does anyone know if this is the real Lord of Gem Rings on the Etsy website?
The E-Bay Lord of Gem Rings has 10,000+ positive reviews but the Etsy shop has only 30+ positive reviews and DH is leery of buying from a vendor with only 30 reviews.
If anyone has bought from this seller or has any experience, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

According the good folks over at PriceScope, it is the same seller so you’re good 🙂

I bought my ring from this exact seller on etsy! It took awhile for them to actually ship my ring but after they did it arrived within 2 days! I love my ring, but was honestly a little bumped that the band looks so much larger in the picture. i wanted to have a unquie ering so we went with rose gold, and morganite. I’d use the seller again.
This is my ring http://www.etsy.com/listing/156136969/claw-prongs-14k-rose-gold-emerald-cut?ref=shop_home_active

Thank you for your responses! I feel a lot better now… I was pretty sure it was them and not a copy-cat. They have such pretty things at amazing prices…. MrsJBaggett, yours is gorgeous!

Thanks for pointing that out. I had almost forgotten, I was under the assumption that the seller was located in Boston,USA(based on thier profile location) when I placed my order. However, after ordering the ring I was told they were shipping it from china. It made me really nervous but Im happy with my ring and it arrived quickly(after the intial waiting period) and as pictured.

@MrsJBaggett: From memory they are based in China but accept returns in Boston (should you decide to go that route). But yes, I also ordered from them and was very happy with the results. The only thing odd about the transaction was that they didn’t provide C&C paperwork for the moissanite and then claimed ‘it was standard practice to throw it out since nobody ever asked for it’ when I asked where it was.
So the moissanite might be older or possibly a Chinese knockoff. Worth asking in advance if you care about that kind of thing. I think other gems are generally fine, though.

I noticed the Boston vs. China address too.
They have a beautiful diamond band on Etsy that I’m dying to have. I was just searching through the Etsy listings and stumbled on it. Then I saw the LOGR title at the top and it took me a few minutes to put two and two together.
I’m showing it to DH tonight to see what he thinks. He will have the final say since he is paying for it, but he just wants me to be happy. I just would like his opinion on it so we’ll see.
