I am so sick of tornadoes. It is pretty hardcore here right now. Anyone else getting pounded?
I am praying for everyone. Mr. T has family in MO and AR so it's always stressful hearing about the storms there.
Yeppers! I just posted on the other thread. My sisters window got smashed because of the hail :(
@zippylef: aww sorry you're having to go through this, it's something I can't fully imagine living in England but can imagine how terrible it must be, I know I'd be sh!*$ing myself.
Thoughts and prayers and {{{hugs}}} going out to you and everyone going through this. I sure do hope it gets better for you and everyone else really soon.
Currently getting our share of some major flooding, hail and t-storms right now....thinking of you all in the mid-west states.
why yes, indiana is getting it right now. had some of the largest hail i think i've ever seen. looked like ice cubes!

Well, ladies. I hope anyone else in MO is staying safe tonight. The news is saying that we have several hours of severe weather left.
And....FH just texts me to tell me the power is out at his work and they are hunkered in the basment...great.
Yep, here in Kansas City there were 5+ tornados earlier. FH and I were out getting smoothies when we saw funnel clouds and decided to make a pit stop at my parent's house instead of going straight home. They have a basement and we live in a 2nd story apartment. Turned out fine tho, the clouds were moving FAST.
Thinking and praying for anyone who is affected by these storms. Hoping everyone stays safe.
@Prewitt: Yep, Beginning of July. DH is getting stationed at RAF Lakenheath.
my future step daughter just got on a plane heading to arkansas. she goes every summer and i looked at FI today before she left and was like are you SURE you want to send her to the midwest right now? there are tornado warnings pretty much everywhere.
he still put her on the plane but well call every day to make sure shes ok!
Prayers and hugs for everybody who is affected. Let us know you are ok.
Everyone affected please take care of yourself! Even if that means hunkering down in a dingy cold dark basement or cave out in the woods for a bit!
I'm so glad that here in Oregon we get...rain. The worst is occasional flooding.

stay safe ladies... I'm in Southern Illinois (down around C'dale) and things are supposed to be getting rough tonight... I despise tornadoes DEATHLY afraid! Ugh
Be safe in StL i was up there on Good Friday at Busch stadium when the warming were going off! Not good!
Here in Central Indiana and we had tornado warnings here today too. We had to head to the basement at work!
I had a warning tonight and one last night. I hear there will be another here before the night is over and more tomorrow. My thoughts are with everyone else going through this!
I grew up in tornado alley. They can be scary, luckily I've never been in one, seen many though.
Just remember, things are replaceable, people are not. Stay safe!
@zippylef: Yep. Sirens went off on my way to work today, and we evacuated and hid out for an hour. I am in Columbia, about 2 hours from you.
I've been seeing them but I now live far enough south that we don't get them really at all.
I agree with you that you be kept safe & that your loved ones and your lives (homes, belongings) be safe too!

We were supposed to get them yesterday but for some reason Wichita seems to have a protective bubble. Hope everyone stays safe.

@futuremrssteel - My mom is a counceller in Wichita (lives in Burrton). She currently has my wedding dress because she's driving to the destination wedding and I didn't want to fly with it. She took it to work with her yesterday to "keep it safe". I told her if her house was hit by a tornado my wedding dress would be the least of my concerns, but I know she was doing the "mom thing". You Wichita and nearby folks where in a pretty prime target area yesterday! I'm glad nothing happened down there!
Storms are supposed to hit us in Tennessee around 10pm. I am praying it doesn't get too rough.
I will praying for all of you other bees in the affected areas.
95% of the people I know are in St. Louis and I keep calling to make sure they are alive. And all the Facebook posts worry me. I'm only 4 hours west, and the storms keep breaking up and going around us. But they are saying storms over night. Dear storms, happen after 3:30 a.m., so the boy can get to work safely.
what the hell is going on this spring? we dont get many here where I live most years but we have had like 20 in my state in the last month and a half. its really cool to watch them over the water though, I hope everyone stays safe tonight

We got hit with storms, wind, hail etc pretty bad on sunday. I guess a tornado touched down as well, but nothing like where you are at!!! My prayers are going out to you and everyone in the area.
Well, everythings been quiet here for a while now. We're supposed to have some good storms here again early in the morning. Hopefully just thunderstorms.
Saw this news article on yahoo. I thought it was pretty interesting.
The storms are knocking on my door. Literally. As I started typing, the hail started. And yes, I'm sitting in our bathroom!
