Im fairly new to Cali and i live about an hour away from LA. The girls are all flying in on a Tues so I thought why not have the batchlorette party That night while we’re already there. It’s a Tues so I’m needing to find out what’s poppiin’ on a Tues night. I would love an inexpensive mid grade place that has memorable food and a cool LA ambiance for dinner. Also I want to take them to a modern cool kind of martini bar. We could even do a little club/pub crawl. If you guys know of any hotels that are close to these places please share. I love the rooftop at the standard hotel in LA but I’ve never been there on a Tues night. I’ve done some research but it’s better to hear from a local;). I hope there are some LA bees out there! Thanks bees!

i had my bachelorette weekend in LA. Mainly because many of my girls live in Southern CA and three were pregnant so I didn’t want them to have to fly but also because we were getting married in Vegas so I didn’t want a bachelorette in Vegas.
We went to Bottega Louie because a friend wanted to visit the patisserie. They also have food and bar.
We also did Korean spa. Many of us were skeptical but we loved the experience. After the awesome scrub and massage, you’re perfectly comfortable walking around naked in front of your girlfriends.
We had dinner at Palomino only because some of my girls are not as adventurous with food. The best place was a Thai Resaurant called Ruen Pair. We loved it so much we returned the next day for lunch. I asked for local whole in the wall places instead of fine dining.
We also did private room karaoke and then when some of the girls went to bed, we walked to a bar (Westswood Brewing Company) near the hotel. We stayed at Hotel Palomar in Westwood. When we drove by the Beverly Hilton, my friend was curious about the hotel and inquired about booking the room that Whitney died in. Surprisingly, it was only about $300 something per night. The bar wasn’t fancy. I think it was a local college bar. It was quite funny when some guys asked us what year we were and my answer was, “I don’t know how to tell you this but we are a little bit older and some of us graduated college ten years ago.” My sis in law is actually a UCLA alum for her undergrad but has since gone to graduate and law school and was sitting there three months pregnant. We met a few petroleum engineers in town for a engineering contest and thought it was funny because these were the guys who we probably would never have paid attention to when we were college students. We talked to them for a bit and gave them a little advice from the old married (or soon to be married) ladies.
While walking back to the hotel and crossing Wilshire Blvd, I hear one of my friends scream, “Move along. We are not hookers.” to two guys who made a U-turn to pull over to get our attention. They asked her if she was scared of them and she said, “yeah right. you’re really threatening driving on Wilshire Blvd in your white range rover. now move along.” Then I hear my little sister tell my other that now was the time to blow her penis whistle.
I think LA has so much to do as long as you are with your girls, you will have fun.

Thanks! We might hit up the Ruin Pair. A couple of my girls loves thai food. We might hang out at the Standard hotel on the roof top I hear it’s pretty cool!
