There aren't a ton of photos on the site, but don't let that stop you from considering Dollface.
Dollface, an on-location service, takes your suggestions to heart and knows how to strike various looks. My big thing was that I wanted to look red carpet glam, not like a beauty pageant contestant. And I wanted my makeup suited to me, not the "works on any bride" look. Dollface got everything I was looking for right away. I described what I wanted to Jackie, my artist on my trial and the big day, showed her some photos and commented on them, and she pretty much achieved the look I was going for. I did advise her of some changes I wanted to make after seeing photos from the trial, and she nailed those too. I had so many glowing comments about my hair and makeup on my wedding day. My eyes popped, my skin looked radiant and had a natural tone to it, and my hair style was elegant and sophisticated, yet romantic and fresh, just as I wanted it to be. I don't have photos yet but if I can get around to it, I'll try to post them.
One more great thing about Dollface is that their rates are very competitive. I did not feel overcharged at all. This was after calling various salons and beauty pros and getting quoted all kinds of crazy rates. I highly recommend Dollface.

I actually used Sheree Pouls of Lips and Locks. She really was awesome. Very easy to work with and such a pro.
I would check her out if you are also looking to shop around for an LA hair and makeup person.
