Hello,

I am considering holding my wedding reception at the Los Verdes Golf Course in Palos Verdes. Has any one attending a wedding there? How was the food?

Have any of you held a wedding there and attended a food tasting?

Unfortunately, they, like many places, don't allow the tastings prior to booking.

I appreciate any advice and opinions!

Hi, I attended a wedding there on March 29. The food was pretty good. We had a choice between prime rib and salmon. The appetizers were pretty tasty as well. There was this one appetizer which was a like a dumpling stuck into sugar cane with a thai chili dip. :) it was yum.

Yes, interestingly enough I have attended a wedding there AND my reception is there in November. I remember the prime rib being on the "eh, its ok" side. May not be the best dish to serve 200+ people, but to each her own! They have tons of great apps, especially if you get the platinum package. We had to because we have a LOT of drinkers and its included for 4 hours. I have not gone for my tasting yet, but I have a feeling I'll go with the chicken or salmon.

My best friend who recently got married there in February was happy with the food. My friend got the platnum package which she had the prime rib and the chicken. I tried both and the prime rib was better. The chicken was super dry..i wouldnt get that..The appetizers were really good and she had a good selection of them.
