I am new here, but wanted to get some insight, and possibly some encouragement. My wedding is almost a month away. I had my 2nd fitting already, and my dress is currently being altered. My 3rd fitting is next Wednesday.
I decided to join Weight Watchers to take better care of myself and make healthier choices…great, right?! Except I’m a little nervous about losing too much weight and having to get MORE alterations done ($$). I’ve lost about 5 pounds since starting (yay!), but I’ve heard that you shouldn’t lose too much weight or the dress won’t fit properly or need more work done to it (boo). Please help me put my mind a little at ease. I’m starting to regret starting WW this close to the wedding. Any thoughts? Thank you and it’s great to be here!

Do you want to continue to lose weight before the wedding or are you happy with where you are? If you are pleased with your current state you could always going onto the WW maintenance part of the plan.
Are you paying a la carte for alterations? I paid one blanket fee that covers pretty much everything/how ever many alterations will be needed so I can get everything adjusted as the weight comes off – yes that will be annoying for them but I paid A LOT for those alterations.

@LindsayLoves: I’m about 10 more pounds away from my goal weight, so my intention was to lose more. I wish I had the option to pay a blanket fee, but each time more needs to get done=more $. Your suggestion to get on the WW maintenance plan is probably my best option to avoid more hassle. I guess I will have to hold off on losing more until after my wedding.
