It fell off? Was it too big? I’m so sorry this has happened to you!

Are you sure you didn’t take it off somewhere? A lot of women take their ring off to wash their hands, cook, etc. so maybe you did that and forgot?

Check the garbage and in the marinade bag maybe it slipped off in there

I would retrace all of my steps from the last time I remember having it on.

I’m not sure how it works with your insurance and insurance plans also vary on what they cover, but I would give them a call immediately or look over your paperwork to see if the ring getting lost is covered.

Also, when you find it and/or get a new one, I think you should get it resized. If it did slip off it’s too big.

If you have insurance through State Farm, AllState etc, they will give you money back for what the ring is worth at this moment. You will considered a HIGH at risk customer and your premiums will go up drastically, also if you ever decided to get a quote somewhere else they will see that your a high risk customer as well and may not even offer you insurance with them.

I was told by my insurer which is State Farm to first use the warranty I have with my jeweler (Reeds) before I contact them.

@Orchd12:  It means that it will make your rates go up. Since you lost it, it is like an at-fault incident, meaning you caused it to occur (rather than if you were robbed or something like that). Since you are the “cause”, that means that it has a higher chance of happening again in comparison to if it was a random incident like a mugging or act of nature.
