I think the best choice would be whatever makes you happy.

Youll never be able to replace the sentimental value of your original ring. With that in mind, if you loved the look of your first ring, get a look a like. If you’re feeling like you’ve always wants a “xyz” cut but he got you an “abc” then this is the perfect opportunity to get EXACTLY what you’ve always dreamed of.

Maybe go try on tons and tons of rings to see which one suits you best.

Have fun shopping!

Congratulations on your upcoming 10 year anniversary!

Your white gold wedding band is beautiful and sure to complement any ring you choose. Solitaires are timeless, and 3 stone anniversary bands are so romantic! Ultimately, I agree with @thatgirlelle, you should go to several jewelry shops and try on different styles of 3 stone rings and solitaires. You might be surprised at which styles you prefer.

dpink04 :  I’m sorry you lost your engagement ring! I would either get the same exact ring as my original, or the upgrade I always wanted (if budget allows for it). Your wedding band is classic, so it could go with just about anything. What’s your personal style (traditional or modern), preferred cut, etc? The bees here have great taste and they love to make recommendations, but we need a little more guidance.

dpink04 :  I have a cushion cut (albeit a sapphire), it’s a great modernied version of the princess cut! Okay, next question: do you like sidestones, halo, solitaire? What kind of setting?

I have a cushion in a halo so I’m obviously biased. wink  I’m sorry you lost your ring but seeing that you’re coming on 10 years of marriage (congratulations!) I think it’s the perfect time to try something different.

I like cushions because they don’t have the harsh corners that princesses do.  I like princesses, but I think cushions have more sparkle; at least that’s what I’ve seen.  Plus, princess moissanites have  a very different look to them.  I do not care for them to be honest.  Cushion moissanites are very pretty, assuming you are going to get another moissy.

A 3 stone cushion ring would be very pretty.  When I googled it, I found this ring from Sam and Sue.  It’s a radiant but with much smaller side stones.  I think it’s gorgeous!

dpink04 :  I have a three stone moissy 🙂 Oval center and two half-moon side stones. Maybe it will help give you some inspiration 🙂

redmango :  Your ring is gorgeous! I agree that the cushion & radiant cuts seem like they have more sparkle. I saw a MoissaniteCo radiant that was to die for!! So much freakin sparkle!!
