It happened to me before too on my e-ring. I didn’t play with it though, it was just loose… I was a crazy woman run up and down looking for it in my car, my purse, my jacket, even called my friend who I just bought something from her cosmetic counter in downtown……

when I was sooo upset and mad at myself, giving up looking…. cleaning up my shopping bags… I found it in my holt renfrew paper bag Surprised

So calm down and look at places that you would never thought of, and ever since that incident, I have put my e-ring on my middle finger ……..

Try checking the metal parts, like the tracks where the seat can be pushed back and forth. Check by the gear shift (If it touches the seat, in my car it does), check under seat covers if you have them, in cup holders, if your gear box is open, check there. Check any pockets or holders in the door (My doors have plastic pockets at the bottom for maps and stuff).

Yeah, for whatever reason, I was 100% certain that I must have lost it on the sidewalk when I went to my FI’s house or left in the car.  Cuz’ I was certain I still had it with me when I was in Holt Renfrew…. then I start scaring myself that I must have forgot the ring on the counter when I took it off to try the Shu Umera Cleaner…. and… who would return a diamond ring to the lost and found right?  haha, I was even blaming myself for having a thin band that is so comfortable that I dun feel anything on my finger

so yeah, who would thought that I slip it inside the paper bag? so dun stress out, you will be fine.

@Bluediamond:  +1, came here to say this!  Make sure you’re extremely careful when opening the doors to do this though!

This happens to DH ALL the time!

He always finds it the minute he stops looking!

I lost my promise ring in my car in a similiar situation, as well as in the winter too. I basically tore my car apart and re-traced my steps in the parking lot I was in. Employees of the store I was parked outside of even came to help me the next morning. My FH kept reassuring me that he would replace the lost ring, but I was more caught up with the sentimental value of it all. Anyways, after about 14 hours of looking EVERYWHERE, I ended up flashing a light into my seatbelt buckle thing, (what you put the seatbelt into), and I saw a little sparkle. It was my ring! I would have never suspected it being there as my seatbelt went into the buckle part fine. Best wishes on finding your ring! I’m sure it’ll turn up!
