So… I just had my wedding two weeks ago and I just got a call from the company that I used to get my photographer and videographer.
Apparently, they lost their video equipment including my tape which was inside shortly after my wedding. They say that it was most likely stolen. I’m devastated because I was really looking forward to the video.
They haven’t offered any compensation, but I asked for a full refund for the video for now.
So now I’m trying to think of how I should ask them to compensate me. What would you do?

Awwww….that’s awful! I think the only thing they are obligated to do is provide you a full refund, nothing more nothing less.

yeah, they don’t really have to do anything. maybe you could ask them to do like an anniversary photo session, or if you have kids someday, they could do a family photo session?

How terrible! I’m so sorry. Maybe you could ask for a "newlywed video" where they film you opening some wedding presents, using some of your new gifts, just being cute together? It will never replace your wedding video, but at least you would have something cute to show your kids what their parents were like whent hey first got married.
