I absolutely love baking and would love to open a bakery one day…but first I have to try out my skills…my problem is, who will eat them?
My Fiance can only eat so many cakes and cookies. I have a small workplace (3 peopls) so its not like they can demolish a batch of cookies.
Any ideas on who can eat my creations? I need feedback AND I really don’t want to waste food.

Bring it in to work, have your fiance bring it in to his work, bring it to book club meetings, bring it to the gym lol, bring it to the library…parking lot, bring it to…wherever you go!

I love baking too! I bake for people’s birthdays, for gifts I’ll bring something special baked over, and for holidays. I also loe baking for my nephews and niece, and my son. I just try to find any reason to bake, lol, otherwise I eat most of it!!

How about the veterns hospital, nursing homes, police station, fire station, etc. These places always apprecialte a treat- especially nursing homes and hospital.

Pass them out to your friends & neighbors and have them take them to work
Local college campus? High school teachers’ lounge? Community theatre during tech week?
Find some groups that meet regularly and provide goodies for their meetings (support groups, people who meet at a library, town council)
Good luck!!! Sounds like fun!

Get to know your neighbors! I love baking for my neighbors!
I’m in the same boat–I love baking but my Fiance can’t eat everything! I won’t have the problem anymore though–I’m a teacher so I can always bake for my students 🙂

I send stuff to hubby’s work. My Father-In-Law & nephew love my baked yummies, too.

Do you have close family members? I love to bake and make little treats but I don’t like eating them lol, so I usually bring them to family members houses when I go over, or pass them out to FIs family.

I have a co-worker who also loves to bake & brings yummy treats to work at least once a week, but we have a large group of co-workers so it goes fast.
What about seeing if there’s a homeless shelter in your area that you could bring your baked goods to? Shelters do their best to have regular food for meals, but it would be such a treat to have some homemade desserts also. Or if you have a fire station or police station nearby they might really appreciate it also.

What if you split them up between different people? take a dozen to work, give a dozen to Fiance to take to work, drop off a dozen at a friend’s front door… etc. or, a vendor you frequent (auto mechanic, doctor/dentist’s office, etc).
I love to bake, but I can’t keep them around, or I’ll eat them all. They go straight to DH’s work and get gobbled up in no time. The only problem is, I don’t really have a gauge for if they were really good or not (because sometimes I don’t try them and Darling Husband doesn’t get to them in time to give me feedback)…

I bake all the time and send the goodies to work with Fiance. Or I freeze them, and only take out one or two at a time.

I think the PPs have shared a lot of great options.

When I worked at a school, certain groups or individuals would sponsor treats in the teachers’ lounge once a month or so. We all loved it! I also think you could donate them somewhere, or send them to work with Fiance. Everyone loves baked goods 🙂

You can send them over my way 😉 I had this talk with the boyfriend yesterday, and he was like you could make cookies! Breakfast cookies, lunch cookies, and dinner cookies. The dinner cookies could be a heavier cookie, and I could eat cookies all the time!
Him talking like that is gonna make me gain 50 pounds, lol. But I would be happy to take them off your hands, to feed a starving SO, lol. Not too starving I hope, I just made enchiladas last night…
