Im planning to do a love bird theme too! i have some great ideas for it:

1 im incorporating birds on my stationary by using a rubber stamp and stamping the birds on places, i will tie this in by stampig my own napkins, using a pigment ink, so they dont run with a monogram and birds

2 I went to a michaels store and picked up some adorable bird houses in ivory and will have them next to where i will have the guest book.

3 I have this idea for the centerpieces where i want to have some branches come out the top of the boquets with strands of dangling crystals and bird sillouettes hanging, maybe with a few bird sillouettes attached to the branch itself.

4 I picked up a white wilton bird cake topper and painted it gold (one of my colors) to go on the cake with flowers.

These are some of my bird ideas that i am using, i hope some of them can give you an inspiration to go on…

im gonna have my wedding out side in the tall trees and am maybe thinking about having some light song bird classical music playing in the back ground of the ceremony? i dont know, i just started planning im a dyi bride to be and have alot of time to plan as my fiance and i want to graduate from college, me with my bach. and him with his masters. also he is not from the u.s, so we have immigration stuff to deal with too.. but anyway…

hope this helps, maybe we can keep in touch and exchange other ideas as we think of them? let me know. my email is [email protected]

We’re using cardinals in our wedding decor. The centerpieces have silk cardinals in them and the stationery has a cardinal:

I’m also doing small grapevine bird nests with light blue jordan almonds in them as place cards for the rehearsal dinner.

That little nest with the “eggs” is exactly what we’re doing for our rehearsal dinner!!!!! It’s so cute- I guess great minds DO think alike. Our centerpieces are floral:

And we’re placing one red cardinal on each centerpiece. The cardinals look like this:

Midwest Design Birds Cardinal 3" with Clip Red Assorted 6pc

They have little clips that help secure them to the arrangement.

those are cute, im just doing the sillouettes, i do have a pic of the bird nest, almonds as eggs to that i like, my maid of honor yesterday was like, “everything is cute and all, buts what is with the birds?” i told her “lovebird” theme and it all clicked, her reaction was priceless… so i might put something on the stationary about sharing the day with the lovebirds???? if she didnt get it, i wonder if others wont either without some kind of word phrase to tie them together??? i dont know, what do you fellow bees think? any similar problems???

@jennifer5642….do you mind sharing or template on the invitation? Or telling me where you found the tree branch and birds?  That is exactly what I’m looking for.
