I’m not sure what’s wrong with me… I love my dress in pictures (like pictures from my fittings) but not when I’m actually wearing it… I’m worried it’s going to ruin my moment next week when I’m wearing it during my wedding because I don’t love my dress… Anyone else feel like this, or am I just being crazy?

Take a deep breath, calm down. Realize you Fiance would marry you even if you walked down the aisle wearing a paper bag. It WILL be okay.

@lazybee123: Do you have a pic of you in it?
Why don’t you feel comfortable in it? Is there anything that can be done?

Can you pinpoint what it is exactly that you don’t care for?

Here’s a board with pictures of me in it: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/remove-bowsash-one-week-to-wedding
I just feel like it’s not flattering when I’m looking at myself in the mirror (makes me feel wide and gives me turkey arms) and it feels like it doesn’t hit right in the chest but when I see pictures I’m like “oh it looks good” so I don’t know why I can’t feel that way when I’m wearing it…

You look gorgeous! Don’t bully yourself. The day of my wedding I did very little thinking about my dress. I cared more about my hair staying put honestly! And I had serious dress regret leading up to the wedding. I ended up loving my dress in all the pictures after. Maybe you’re just stressed and funneling it all onto how you feel in your dress. Take a deep breath and remember that you look stunning in pictures (which = looking stunning in real life, too).

It’s a really lovely dress! If you are self-conscious about your arms, maybe you can look at pairing a bolero with it? You can always take it off, too, at any point if you feel like you don’t want to wear it the entire time.
