I love my future in laws too! They're never overbearing, they always are so gracious and his mom always invites me places with her. I truly truly enjoy being around them and consider myself very lucky i won the in law lottery!
I have gotten SO lucky in the future in law department. My FMIL is the sweetest lady you could ever meet. They are so supportive of our relationship and were elated when we shared the news we would be getting married. I am also excited to be a part of his larger family. Having only one brother myself, it will be nice to experience a larger family. Yay for loving the in-laws! We got lucky! :)
Mine are the best! And not just FMIL and FFIL-the whole family. From day one, they all treated me like I was a part of the family. They have their quirks like any family, but they are awesome! I am truly blessed to have them in my life.
I love love love Mr.Poodle's family - His Parents are soooo awesome to me - so yeah I'm a huge FIL fan
Yes, I love my in-laws. They are so caring towards me. My fiance is Vietnamese and I am not, so there is a cultural barrier. While they are very caring and loving, there isn't a lot of deep or meaningful conversations, it's mostly on the surface stuff (Hi, how are you, how was your day, are you hungry). Mostly it's a language barrier, they speak English but sometimes I don't understand. Also, it's a cultural barrier, we don't joke around or talk about just random stuff. I hope that with time that will improve. I am trying to learn the Vietnamese language so that they could feel more comfortable, too. Overall though, I love them and their son and they love me.
I just saw this, but absolutely have to share the in-law love. They are the best, and I appreciate being welcomed into their family like a daughter with open arms. I would go to his mom with any problem. She is such a wise and caring woman... and his dad is hilarious!
I looove his mother!!!!!!!!! She's so sweet and is really just a great person.
I love my fiance's family! We have extremely similar backgrounds - divorced parents with less than stellar fathers, Christian upbringings, etc. His mother is great and as an only child I could not be happier with gaining his two wonderful sisters who have welcomed me into the family with open arms! While I'm not the biggest fan of his father's side, neither is he (which is probably the main reason I'm not a huge fan). But there again - we have that in common!
loooove mine! I come from a single-parent home and am an only child, and his family is big comparatively. I feel like I have been welcomed with open arms from day 1 and I am soooo excited to gain a new awesome family when we do get hitched. they are seriously wonderful people and I love spending time with them!
My future in-laws are amazingly similar to my own parents, and they are fabulous! I am so lucky to have them in my life. I also feel lucky since my parents' get along with them as well! We will soon be one big, slightly crazy, happy family!
I love my future in laws...in fact my future dad called me (my phone not my FIs) to see how I was doing. He actually said he missed me!! AAwww how cute!!
His mom is awesome too when we go visit them in NJ she ALWAYS has something for me, cooks all my fav foods, and has groceries for us to bring back home!! I HEART THEM!!!

Is anybody else just a huge giant fan of their future in-laws?
I love these guys! He is a wonderful teddy bear kind of a guy, funny and sweet, and he calls me honey and hugs me! And she is sooo sweet to me. She's planning our rehearsal dinner/casual BBQ and has been so sensitive to what I want and yet willing to do the work. What great people! They're very supportive of our relationship. Plus they're just so much more parent-y than my own (divorced) parents. They're responsible and reliable. I am so lucky!!
We hear a lot of "my in-law is driving me nuts" posts on here, but does anyone else really love their in-laws?
