I bought my gown and from the moment I saw it online, I feel in love with it. I went and found a bridal salon that carried the sample and I lucked out that they had the gown and in my size. My gown came in last week and Im worried about how big my breasts and arms look. The gown has not been altered or pinned or anything but I just seem to look huge in the gown. The gown does have a corset in the back, but the lady did not lace up it tight.

I'm feeling like I have no waist in the gown and that all you see are my breasts and arms. Help!!! What would you do? I was leaning towards adding cap sleeves to the gown...

OMG! I love your dress!!! So gorgeous! Once it's altered (and your corset is tied how you want it to be) it should make all your doubts go away. I didn't notice your arms (I'm suuuuper self-conscious about my arms too). I think it looks AMAZING.

I think that once it is altered and cinched up, it will look more to what you are looking for. I think it looks great on you. I would not do cap sleeves though. In my opinion, they tend to make arms look bigger. Maybe a nice bolero would work for you. I am busty too, so I got a bolero. I got it at http://www.tulipbridal.com/index.php. Here is a picture of the one I got. It was on clearance and they don't have anymore left, but they do still have some that would go great with your gown.

Awhh Tetelove, I think you look lovely!

I'm terrible with fashion so I have no useful suggestions. But I do have the same worries with a large chest. What about a different bra? Sometimes if you have better support everything feels better?

The dress is beautiful and you are gorgeous in it!

I must say, I did not even notice your arms until I read the post. I dont think you have to worry there. Now the ladies.... those I definitely noticed... but that's because you have big ladies.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think you look awesome. Some cap sleeves could look really cute on that dress, though.

I second the suggestion on a good bra. Definitely get sized and get the right support, style, etc. Lane Bryant is my favorite place to go. Really friendly people and great sales!

I think your dress is really pretty and that you look lovely in it.  Once it's taken in a bit at the waist, your waist will be more defined. I don't think too much of the "girls" are showing.  I think your arms look fine, but like the other poster said, there are some amazing boleros out there, if that would make you feel more comfortable.  But, seriously, your dress is gorgeous and you will be a beautiful bride!!  I kind of like the bolero idea better than cap sleeves.....I've seen some really pretty short sleeved boleros.

OOOooh you are going to look gorgeous on your wedding day!!!  I don't think you have to worry about your arms.  They look totally fine.  And once you get the right bra/support and your gown laced up you will really rock that gown!!!  :)

I love it! Stop second guessing yourself, you look absolutely lovely and perfectly like a bride. That dress is a great shape for you... but it needs to be tailored. And, like the others, I agree that a better bra will make it a million times better.

I also don't think you really need a jacket... your arms do not look strangely big or anything like that! I never would have ever thought that about you in this gown.

Also, I really like your veil length. Perfect choice!

I think if you're worried about your arms looking big (which I don't think they do, by the way), you shouldn't add cap sleeves.  In my experience, they sound like a good idea but usually end up making you look wider than if you'd have left them off.  I think you look wonderful!

Wow ...you ladies are AMAZING!! I feel SO much better about the gown. I was really worried about how big my breasts looked. I originally wanted to add a flower strap on one side of the gown since the gown originally comes with a flower on the side..

But my Mom was really iffy about the idea...

Do you guys think thew flower strap will go instead of cap sleeves?

You look beautiful and I think your dress is very figure flattering.  Alterations will do wonders as will good undergarments.  So don't fret!  I honestly think the dress looks gorgeous as it is.  I personally don't think the strap quite fits with the emboridery and beading of the gown.  If you had a plain dress I think the strap might go a little better.

The dress is beautiful and looks great on! I think it could look great with or without the strap!!! I know that doesn't really help. I def agree that it needs to be cinched more, you can tell that it's too loose in the waist and that will make a world of diffference!!! Good luck! Post pictures once you have it how you want it! Can't wait to see :)

I think in order to have the full effect of the dress in all its amazing glory, you definitely have to have the right foundation underneath the dress. I think that you look beautiful, and if you still feel self conscious, then definitely get the bolero, if it helps. But I think you look great!

The gown is gorgeous and it looks beautiful on you! Once the corset is tied better and the undergarments are the right ones, I think it will fit you like a glove, don't worry! :)

Oh I LOVE This dress on you! I wouldn't add anything to it. I was REALLY self concious about my arms and back, and bought a bolero, but ended up not wearing it... more stuff on it just amplified the problem areas and made me hot!

You look H-O-T HOT in a GOOD way!!!!!

i love the dress! i definitely agree with the crowd that a few alterations and a good foundation garment will only enhance how awesome this dress is and looks on you!

Okay, I admit that my first thought was, "boobs!" until I saw the second picture and thought, "holy wow, that is one pretty dress!!!!"  I am so relieved to hear that you had just tucked in a normal bra.  With the right one, your ladies will be kept in place and this dress is going to look amazing on you.  It's really gorgeous and will definitely be so figure-flattering when everything is on properly.  I think the flower sleeve might look really pretty too but I'd try it with one they have sitting around first to make sure.  Personally I don't think it needs it because it's beautiful as is and has a lot of detail already.  Congratulations on your great find!

I think you look fabulous!!  I don't think you need sleeves or anything - just a better bra.  If you are self concious about your arms just know that when you have your veil on you can barely see them and everyone is going to be looking at your smiling face not your arms.  But it is your day and you by no means should be feeling self concious about anything that day - if you need to add sleeves to make you feel 100% sexy then do it!  Also, my dress has a band of elastic inside the dress that fastens to add support and it is AMAZING!!!  I'm not sure what its called but it really made me feel like the dress wasn't going to fall down and my boobs weren't going to be moving all over the place when I dance - nice not to have to worry about that of all things on the big day LOL

THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES FOR THE SUPPORT!! It truly has made me feel so much better about the gown... It seems like I look @ the pictures of me in the gown and I find myself pointing out little things here and there. I'm new to this website and love you ladies already! And boobs aren't a bad thing...it's just hard trying to not have everyone THINK "BOOBS!!"...lol. My wedding is not till next September so I can play with a few ideas..I really appreciate the feedback... :) :) :) :)

I know you've already answered but I wanted to chime in and say you look beautiful! As it happens, I am wearing a regular bra "tucked in" under my dress and it looks fine; it all depends on the cut of the dress and how it's altered. You've picked a very flattering dress! :)

I think that once you're laced in properly and have the right bra on you will see a huge difference.  It doesn't look bad at all now and with some tweaks I think you'll have exactly the look you are going for- it's really beautiful!!

You look great in the dress, and I would leave out the strap, capped sleeves, and the flower.  I think it looks great just the way it is and you don't want to draw attention to the areas you are self consious about.

I agree with everyone else that the right bra will do wonders.  Also, in the forward facing pictures, it looks like you are hunched forward just a bit.  I only notice it because I was doing it in all of my dress pictures too, so I have been super conscious about posture lately.  Make sure you pull you shoulders back, especially when they are lacing you up, and hang onto the dress when they are tightening the corset because that can pull it lower unintentionally.  Those things should make a big improvement as well.  I love the dress.  The pleating on the skirt is so cool and pretty!

I think you look stunning in that dress. I agree that a good bra and the corset tied how you want it, will make you feel better.

Remember that you are your worst critic.

On boobs, rock them girl. If I had even a 1/4 of them I'd rock 'em, coming from a flat chested girl :(

I had the same fears with my dress, I found adding a hoop to my skirt made me look like i had an awesome hourglass figure. So my suggestion is to try a hoop underneath!
