I love a simple thin white gold band for days like that.  They like simple, classic, and elegant.

No, I don’t think it would be silly. I plan to get a plain white gold band to wear around when  cleaning, hiking, etc.

@MrsHoneyC: My ering sits super high so my bands fit underneath my halo and sometimes I just get tired of banging it around. I actually I have a plain silver band I switch it out with sometimes right now.

A plain band is a great idea. Or if you want a bit of bling in the band, something flush or bezel set so its less delicate than pave.

i quite often just wear my 2 bands and not my ering.  that’s one of the reasons i got my plain band.  it looks great with my eternity band.

have you considered just a plain band to wear around the house?

@MrsHoneyC:  There are many days where I don’t wear my ring – ie. if I’m staying at home all day. If I go out, I put it on though. I don’t see anything wrong with getting a simple band to wear when you don’t feel like wearing the entire set. Go for it!

@MrsHoneyC:  would it be possible to unsolder the white band from the blue band, then solder the blue band to your e-ring? that way you could wear the white band alone, and still have the 3 ring look whenever you wear your engagement ring. I think that is what I would do 🙂

Girl I have a cheap stainless ring for just that reason. It is super comfy.
