Alright so i bougth a ton of small silver picture frames with the intention of placing our pics inside ans handing them out as favors but talking with friends and fam and getting not so posititive feedback i decided to consider other options. I was thinking about writing the Corinthians love poem:
Love is patient and kind;
Love is not jealous or boastful;
it is not arrogant or rude.
Love does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.
Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things. — 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and placing it in the picture frames just adding our names and wedding date at the bottom. Which would yall prefer or put it this way, would be less likely to throw out? 🙂 or if yall have any other ideas on what i could do please let me know!

Honestly I’m not a big fan of either. I think it’s weird to have memorabilia of someone else’s wedding (other than a parent or child) displayed in my house.
As a guest, I’d probably just take whatever was in the photo frame out and use the frame for another photo.

I’m in the same boat at KatNYC2011. I rarely, if ever, keep any kind of favor from a wedding that has the couple’s name and date printed on it.
Maybe you could do the Corinthians verse without your names and date at the bottom. It’s a beautiful verse, and when your guests see it in their home later, they’ll remember that they received it at your wedding.

I admit, I wouldn’t keep someone else’s wedding poem in my house either, though I might stick the couple’s photo on my fridge.

sorry, but i would toss both options.

I’m with the other ladies. I’d probably toss whatever was in the frame but keep the frame itself if it is cute and not engraved.

What if you put pictures of you guys growing up, together, etc in the frames and used them to decorate your venue? I bet people would definitely go around and look at them and enjoy seeing both of you as you grew.
Then, after the wedding, sell the frames on Weddingbee!

@mirezj: Are the frames plain or engraved?
If they are plain, you could find fun postcards or images from places in your relationship to put in them.
Or, if your guest list is small and intimate enough, put photos of you or your Fiance with the guest in their frame (might be too labor intensive).
You could also maybe see if your photographer has access to a Polaroid type camera and could take pictures of all the guests to go into their frames.
Or like others have said, just put the poem in the frames (without your names & wedding date).
