what kind of undergarments are you wearing under the dress?

sorry, i just noticed the back doesnt look done up?? I think you need someone to lace you up and it will fit you MUCH better. In my dress I dont like it unless its done up ALL the way.

You have a fantastic shape & I like the dress. I think you just need alterations. Congrats on the weight loss.

I love the straps! Can you get it let out at the bust?

I think this dress has tons of potential It looks beautiful on you just needs some alterations to fit you right. It is really hard to judge what the dress is going to look like when you dont have it pulled in in the right places.

I also think if you have huge boobs you need some proper under garments to hold things where they should be in that dress. I had to go get a speical bra and a tummy wrap/holder-inner thing before i felt my dress fit me perfectly. lol

What is it you don’t like about the straps? Are they too wide? You can always narrow them if that is the problem.

I love them and I particularly love the neckline. Once the dress actually fits you it wiill show off your fantastic rack perfectly (and don’t tell me your hubby won’t want to see the girls at their best on your big day – I bet he will!)

I wouldn’t rely on losing wieght on your chest to help you fit into the dress. You dont’ know where the weight is going to come from. Besides, don’t you want to flaunt your great boobs instead of hoping they’ll get smaller?

Instead, think about getting the dress coverted to corset back, as that will give you extra room. The dress looks like it needs to be fitted better to your lower half as well. Let it really show off your tiny waist and lovely hips.

And definitely get a better bra that pushes up the girls so they fill up that v-neck like they’re supposed to – maybe a longline to add extra support – particularly as I believe Pronovias dresses don’t have a great deal of boning in the waist/hips area like some other dresses do.

Fortunately for you, you picked a dress with a high enough back so you should be able to have plenty of support there in your undergarments.

Your dress is beautiful and I don’t think you are going to recognise it (or yourself) once it’s showing you off to your best extent.

@thumpurr:  I don’t think your top half looks wide, but it’s really hard to judge at the moment because the dress is not even done up at the back, so it is bulging out at the side. Of course it would make you look bigger.

The other thing is is that I think if anything the neckline is a little bit too high – but again, that could be the difference between wearing the right bra, and not. I would think about seeing if you could lower the underlay fabric just slightly on the bust line – particularly at the middle point, so it looks more like a pronounced sweetheart shape. I’d also lower the point of the lace overlay v-neck just a bit as well – in other words, make the neckline more plunging.

In theory, you’re actually doing everything right to create a slimmer top half. V-necks are good because they draw the eye downwards and actually downplay width. Your dress just isn’t doing that for you at the moment because of the way it fits.

The other thing you could think about is adding a bit of volume at the bottom to balance out your top. As the dress is long you have spme length to play with for that. I’d see if you could try on some different slips and crinolines to see what a difference they make.

@thumpurr:  My suggestion…new eye balls. Honestly, the dress looks very flattering on you and I love the straps. I don’t see wide, I see a waistline that looks great. Stop being so hard on yourself!

the straps aren’t doing it for me, I agree with you there that removing them will help,  the more low the neckline the smaller your boobs will look as long as you avoid massive cleavage, it also looks loose around the hips.  can you put in a corset back so you can tighten it as you like and adjust the neckline down a bit?
