I need some advice.
For the past 3 years, I’ve been bumping along aimlessly from one random job to another – and the next one was worst than the last.
But 9 months ago I started at an appraisal/title management company, and I REALLY literally LOVE the atmosphere and the people I work with. It’s the most positive, encouraging, “sisterhood” I’ve been a part of since being in the flute section in high school band lol
But …. the work kinda …. sucks.
It’s the mortgage industry, so it can be stressful. And it’s HARD. We are a nation-wide company and we have hundreds of customer (lenders/banks) and they each have different rules/regulations/policies/procedures. And those things are CONSTANTLY changing.
My reviews have been decent over the last 9 months, but I am still struggling with some things, even though I’ve taken some extra “education.”
And while I’ve never had a problem with consistency at my jobs when it comes to quality of work, I’m having some trouble here.
So I just don’t know what to do.
There are some days where I leave and think “I love my job!” Then there are days where I want to scream and cry. I guess that’s kind of normal but …. I don’t know if I should invest in staying with the company or go elsewhere.
I’m seriously considering going back to school in the near future, but I’m not sure for what.
My biggest concern is that if I leave this job, the new job(s) will be just as awful as the ones before this one.
