Maybe just wear it bustled from the get go? Have it bustled all day!
I am with you on the back. I don't think I will like it bustled any better. Sorry but I think you should keep looking. The style is common enough that I think you could find one you were totally in love with. My first dress had a back I thought I could live with...please note the use of "first dress"!
don't know what to say, I made a post the other day about the fact that not all dresses look nice bustled and this is one of them. I am sorry but you should keep looking.
Honestly, I think you can find a dress that is much more flattering on you that you love. Keep looking, and good luck!
Personally, I wouldn't want a dress that added that much bulk to my butt. The wrap style is totally flattering, and there's plenty similar ones out there. I say take that picture to a bridal shop and see what they can find you that's similar.
I think it looks great on you! Love it!
If you dislike a whole side of it, I think it's not your dress. But don't lose hope, there are a lot of dresses with that kind of ruching on the front (which is what makes it so very flattering) and not all of them will have a back you hate. So keep looking!
I think there are a lot of dresses out there with beading and a sweetheart neckline and a flattering rouched bodice (the awesome things about the front) without the problems that the back of this dress has. happy searching!
Sorry, not a fan, and you should love everything about it! Keep the search going :)
The front of the dress is a very popular style. I think you could easily find a dress you love without having to settle.
Here are just a few that I thought were within this pricepoint and style.
OK, As someone who hated the back of their dress and convinced themselves it wasn't a big deal... and then had major major dress regret and bought a second one... I saw tread lightly. If you don't like it you don't like, and you should love your dress from all angles on your wedding day! Just remember, all your ceremony pics are going to have the train down and the back visible!
I apologize in advance if my statements offend you; however I must speak honestly.
In MY opinion, this dress is not only plain, but it doesn't flatter you. AT ALL.
I think if there is anything at all AT ALL about the dress you don't like, it is not for you. You might try the Maggie Sottero Rachelle from the earlier post. It has some of the same features as this one. I too am not a fan of the back. I tried on the same dress and it did not make my list for the same reason. Good luck, be patient, and try on more dresses. I have found Maggie dresses are pretty flatering.
These Maggie styles are similar (and have nicer backs):
Sylvia, Joanna, Harriet, Mylie, Regina, Madison Marie, and Alexandria (see below)

I wouldn't spend that much money on a dress that had something about it I don't like. I would end up with dress regret for sure. I think you should keep looking - there are tons of dresses out there in that style with nicer looking backs.
I would say the dress IS flattering on you actually but don't care for the back of the dress. As other posters have said, you can find another very similar look with a completely different back and absolutely love it. Keep in mind, as you walk down the aisle, people WILL be paying attention to the back of your gown. Keep shopping girl!
The dress looks great on you and you can always have those tucks in the back let out. A friend of mine didn't like the tucks in hers, had them let out and it was gorgeous.
There are so many dresses that are similar to that out there - why not just find one that has a front AND back that you like?

I tried this dress on at a store but to be honest, I didn't think too much of it at the time. Then again I tried it on following a super blinged out dress and the whole time my MOH (sister) and sales lady kept telling me how plain it was. When I got home and looked at pictures, I realized how great it looks and how much I really really like it! Since my MOH didn't like it, she took only one pic of it. I didn't remember much about it so I looked it up online and I HATE THE BACK! It looks SO funny to me! I know that once it is bustled up it will look fine and all match but I am embarrassed to walk down the aisle in it. Please give me your honest opinions or suggestions? I really love the dress!
