It’s hard to tell in the photos, on my iPad they’re strangely distorted. Why not get in touch with btd and moissyco and try to make a switch though after the stone was set I don’t know what options you’ll have left. You could sell the FB moissy privately if you order the amora and love it.

I think it looks gorgeous!  I can see the arrows in it. It looks so pretty. I personally wouldn’t replace it.

When I look at it, it doesn’t look like the center stone is of the same quality (color grade) as the side stones.  I would replace the center stone with a colored gemstone or a real diamond.

abm0611:  It’s a pretty ring! I do notice that the center stone is more yellow than those in the setting, but it’s probably only because you pointed it out. I doubt that it would’ve been so noticeable if I wasn’t “looking” for a difference. Either way, you deserve to be 100% happy…and if it’s bothering you this much, I would definitely change it to something whiter 🙂

abm0611:  I can see the “warmth”, but only because you pointed it out.

I have mossy and personally, it looked not great when FI first proposed – on a cloudy, overcast day and in the car drive home. It took about a week to get “used” to the coloring, and now I don’t even notice. Yes, it looks a bit buttery when it’s overcast outside, or when I’m rifling through my closet, or wearing my yellow bathrobe, but 90% of the time it looks white. And my moissy is a 1ct unenhanced, set in platinum (which can accentuate the warmth vs. yellow gold).

I would try wearing it for a week and see if the way it changes under different conditions bugs you before you take apart that gorgeous ring!

Honestly when I look at that I can tell it’s not a diamond it looks very odd. It has a yellow glow. If it bugs you now it will always bug you trust me I went through hell with my first ering. I would def send it back and buy the Amira but you will just have to suck up the setting cost.

i can definitely see the difference in the stone colors.

If it bothers you now it will bother you SO much more later. I would look into other options while you still can

Do I see some warmth? Yes. Yellow? Definitely not! Your ring is beautiful & perfectly fine to me but it’s all up to you & how you feel about it, if it really bothers you then I say check out the amora & see if you’re more satisfied with that. Good luck!

Honestly to me in the first picture I can tell the difference, but in the second I can’t tell at all, so I imagine in person the difference is very slight and anyone looking at it in passing probably wouldn’t even notice.

That said, I personally would see about changing it, but that is because I am the sort of person that stuff like that will drive me INSANE. That’s just me though

i think if your having to talk yourself into loving it then ultimately it will end up bugging you…..you want to be totally in love with your ring forever and not look at it and feel you have had to settle on somthing that you dont love straight away….i suppose it all comes down to how much it would cost to replace it….can you exchange your mossy with another whiter one? i,m sorry i dont know much about those stones 🙁
