I feel ya! I've been checking books out instead of buying them as well. Now if only we could check out those pesky Bridal magazines! I've spent a small fortune on those!
That's a great idea :) You could always photocopy any checklists or important pages & make your own little Bridal binder too!
Not enough people use their library... my FI has an incredible one in his little city & he's been going there every week since we've been budgeting for our wedding. He reads about 3 books a week, for fun (it escapes me), and its a costly habit :)
Yay for the public library!
I got three bridal magazine subscriptions using magazineline.com. I think it was about $30 for all three. Not too bad!

First, can I just say that being a newly engaged couple, we have a LOT to learn. Weddingbee has been so helpful.
I decided that reading a few wedding planning books would be a great learning tool for us because we have no idea how to plan a wedding. I went to the public library and borrowed 5 books. I've been reading them on the treadmill and I've already been through 3 books in a week! I'm learning a lot, and I'm not paying $15-20 a book to learn this info! Hooray!
Just wanted to put the bug in your ear in case you're thinking you need to run to Borders and buy every wedding book out there. You don't have to! There is a budget-friendly option. I was so surprised with the selection my library had. :-)
